Meet Richard Parker owner of the Trainer Forum, Washington DC, Georgetown
Richard has always found great pleasure in helping other people. Prior to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer he was a US Navy Submariner and Navy Certified Instructor teaching Basic and Digital Electronics in addition to review Algebra and Trigonometry helping aspiring young sailors advance their Navy careers. He is also a former college and All US Navy wrestler.
He went on to teach these same subjects at a large vocational college, helping many other people establish their new careers with companies like Canon and IBM.
As a Master Trainer he has authored two courses reviewed and accepted by NASM for accredited continued education. Fitness Training for Special Populations and Successful Personal Training and Sales were the courses he developed to help other trainers improve their client services and overall success.
Now Richard employs that same drive, dedication, and attention to detail helping his clients Lengthen their Lives and Improve their Living through fitness in DC specifically in Georgetown.

Richard Parker, the owner and operator of The Trainer Forum, LLC, has been a certified fitness professional since 1997.
He is a graduate of the California University of Pennsylvania [Cum Laude] with a BS in Sports Management and Wellness, a National Academy of Sports Medicine [NASM] Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Senior Fitness Specialist, and a U.S. Navy Certified Master Training Specialist.
Richard was a Sports Club LA Advantage Master Trainer for Special Populations from 2003 to 2014.
He was ranked in the top 5% nationally of the over 330 SCLA trainers for over ten consecutive years and was ranked in the top 1% in the last year of the SCLA in 2013.
In Oct. 2014, Richard left SCLA when it was purchased by Equinox to run his own training program at Balance Gym where he trained his clients until he started The Trainer Forum, LLC at Washington Harbor in Georgetown DC.
